Just finished reviewing a resume for a friend...been a while since I've done a resume review! I also realized I haven't really offered that service in this space, so I wanted to take a quick opportunity to fix that. If you or someone you know needs a #ResumeReview for an IT-focused role, I'd be happy to connect with you and provide my insights. I spent a *ton* of time looking at resumes and screening/interviewing in my previous role, so I try to take every opportunity I can to help candidates make a good impression and put their best foot forward. The Linktree in my bio has lots of potential ways to get in touch. If you decide to reach out, please reply here first so I know to expect you!

Trying to remember my interview count (phone screens + in-person + virtual) in the tool when I left, but I know it was at least five hundred. I think I was knocking on close to seven hundred? 😆

Just finished consolidating the resume of a former-coworker and still-friend from eight sides of a page to two sides of a page. I had to take data from the current resume, from LinkedIn (mostly for missing dates), and from an in-person conversation we had on Wednesday about their career goals. So here are two reminders: 1. In your resume, try to only include details relevant to the role you want. 2. Be sure to take regular breaks from screens. (MY EYES)

Just re-boosted this after reading another similar post (https://mas.to/@markwyner/116534545142076614). I have it pinned on my profile, and this offer's always open.
