@circumspicio@mastodon.social @Moltz@mastodon.social I admit that I returned to Apple products since the launch of M Series, years ago, but Tim Cook's recent attitude is the nail on the coffin to me. I have zero respect or tolerance for anyone pleasing any kleptocrats and Trump is, among other things, a disgusting kleptocrat. I'm have experience having GNU/Linux distros, BSD Variants, & other Unix-like operating systems as daily drivers (and Windows spyware at work) but my issue is finding relatively affordable hardware equating Apple's SoCs performance, specially for multi channel sonic processing and high-end imaging. Qualcomm and AMD have made strides in efficiency and AI capabilities but Apple’s M5 & 5 maintains a dominant lead in real-world performance and power efficiency across the board. Which brand would you recommend equating Apple's SoC ? I really aim to boycott Apple next time I'll buy a new device. #boycott_Apple #boot_licking #Tim_Cook #decision #fascist_gay #kleptocracy
