@darryl@toot.community Oh damn! It seems like at the very least, you do need to transfer your old code. There's probably some emulator for when you feel the need to revisit it.
I'm a bit surprised to hear you were writing TRS-80 BASIC in high school, since I was (and it was the stone age then), and I have some years on you.

@tim_lavoie@cosocial.ca I knoooooooow but that means first I need to figure out why it’s not booting and *then* I need to figure out both the hardware and software sides of setting up an RS232 link and that’s exactly the project that I *haven’t* gotten to in the last decade. If someone will do all that for me, they can *have* the computer. And yeah I used this from probably…1991-1994 or so until I got my first PC (a second-hand IBM PS/2). So junior high, really. You code on what you can afford!
