A highly publicized trial is taking place in Belgium. A man devoted to his car drove into a group of Gilles (people dressed traditionally for a carnival). Excessive speed, drugs, alcohol - all filmed for posting on social media in toxic stories. It says so much about our society. The tragedy in Strépy-Bracquegnies is particularly horrific; don't read about it if you don't feel you can bear it. Seven dead, dozens injured, and the victims were powerless to stop it.
