After lambasting a company for their account deletion process because they started enforcing ID verification, I just had to vent a little, closing my "satisfaction survey" with: Yes. I know your company is only "following government doctrine". But unquestioning acquiescence to a desperately flawed strategy, that is more about population control than personal safety is pathetic. When questioned in the future why you did this, I believe the accepted response is "we were just following orders"
