If you want to fight antisemitism, keep amplifying the voices of anti-genocide Jews who are being erased and silenced by racist Zionists who claim that you can't support Jews without hating Arabs, and their own people are "not real Jews" because of a different opinion, while they slander and arrest Jewish activists, and brutalize rabbis. And if you care about Palestine, do not believe Zionist lies about Jewism, to co-opt their entire identity for themselves. Conflating Israel with Jewism is THEIR lie. Jews are standing in solidarity all over, no matter what Israeli propaganda says. They want to bury and hide their solidarity, and paint all Jews as hateful towards Palestine, because "Zionism was an antisemitic idea from the start" (quote by Jewish-Canadian writer Naomi Klein). Now not all Jews will agree with the politics of anti-Zionist Jews, but silencing their voice and erasing their identity is antisemitic whether you agree or not. As with any demographic, there is no freedom until the most marginalized can speak freely. I'm not claiming to know much about Jewism, or to speak for any Jews, ever. I do know human diversity though, and that Jews are not immune. To paint all Jews under one hateful brush is the definition of racism, and the definition of antisemitism is racism against Jews. It's that simple. We need to be standing in solidarity for anti-racism on all fronts, so Zionists can't create hate and division. #racism #hate #HateSpeech #cdnpoli #abpoli #freepalestine

And yes, on a more personal note... this includes threatening me for supporting Palestine by making me your natural enemy because you say, "I'm Jewish!" Me wearing a keffiyeh does not make me antisemitic. You making me your enemy because you're Jewish, does. Educate yourselves and stop spreading antisemitic lies in the name of Jews. "Not in our name" is a modern Jewish saying for this very reason.

@ned@beige.party Clearly you know fuck-all about Judaism since you don't even call it by the universally accepted word. So it's probably best to shut up and not pontificate from a position of total ignorance. The land of Israel has been central to Jewish identity for at least two and a half millennia. Sure, Jews have varying views about the state of Israel, which is a modern political entity.
