I've seen too much antisemitic hate in Canada too, against Jews who speak out against genocide, including but not limited to the new Federal NDP leader and his wife (much more so his wife, probably because of the intersectionality of being a woman as well as Jewish). This is why I disagree when people say, "there is not a rise in antisemitism, just criticism of Israel". No, I do see a rise in antisemitism, but from those who are accusing others for speaking up. Call out antisemitism loud and clear, but don't leave out where it comes from. To dismiss the rise in antisemitism rather than flushing out the real causes, gives space for the racist theory that the cause is pro-Palestine activism, whenever antisemitism is seen.
