@ldottxt@kind.social - the pay being listed as yearly instead of as a clear hourly wage is a pretty clear indication that this ad was made using a template (or, worse, AI). They entered the hourly wage (both the minimum and the maximum they'd be willing to pay, but you'll be offered the minimum unless you can demonstrate you're worth far more) and the computer calculated what that would be at 40hrs/wk over a year.
So you can do that math in reverse. 55k divided by 52 weeks in a year divided by 40 hours in a week is about $26.44/hr. So if you only work 20hrs a week? That's $27,500 a year.
