@roknrol@beige.party not sure where you live, but a local gas station chain (in a lower cost of living area of the country) *starts* mid-level positions (which they classify as no degree and 5 years experience) at just under $70k. also it would be illegal (and more importantly, enforceably so) for an employer to not pay for anything over 35 hours.

@ldottxt@kind.social Well, I've only worked in the US. I'm not sure what country you live in, but "unpaid work" is what drives the US economy. It sounds like you have legal protections there, so it's probably legit. I still wouldn't expect more than the bottom of the range listed.

@roknrol@beige.party in my field $55-65k would be a reasonable half-time or entry-level (no degree or experience) pay level.
