Since it's in Germany it's subject to GDPR, which means that before collecting the data you should give people all the information required by article 13.

@rodolphe@pwet.what.tf @aelin@donotsta.re @jane@smolhaj.social @cas@social.treehouse.systems i wouldn't say "a lot more", considering the very limited scope of data (name and email address) and the circumstances though i'm not 100% sure how it would be handled in the case where there isn't a clear legal entity processing the data, and instead a team where multiple people might have access to the aforementioned data
