@adamchainz@fosstodon.org Today was Development Upgrade #Django Day! I followed my previous practice of following the upgrade instructions. https://docs.djangoproject.com/en/6.0/howto/upgrade-version/ My habit in development is to run with "PYTHONWARNINGS=always" which meant that I had very little to change from the latest 4.2 LTS. I was holding django-upgrade in reserve in case I got overwhelmed. So far, so good. Next step, verify things are working on my backup development machine, then the always scary push to production!
