It literally wasn’t an issue. Judgement aside for liking posts by a ‘barely legal’ repost bot, nothing illegal or terrible happened. It’s pretty clear he just got upset that this person’s bot drew attention to his likes and his overreaction and subsequent ban was the issue.
And now, some people are catching bans for making jokes about how it was an overreaction (as far as I can tell). It’s simultaneously very funny and also very sad.

Didn’t he also follow her to Twitter or something and harass her there as well after banning her? It’s been a while since I saw this going on, but I swear that that was part of the outrage.
