I believe that they are discussing how to rollout subsidies for certain income brackets, protecting the B40s (poor) and M40s (middle class). Frankly I am thankful for this subsidy not for me personally because I pay only US$15 worth of petrol which lasts me two months - I work remotely and take public transport most of the time. But the poor whose businesses are very fuel dependent need this, and if my taxes return to then that way so be it. I am just a realist. It will take many years before we can electrify our transportation, and for now I am glad my govt protects the poor this way. @EllenInEdmonton@yeg.bike
