We fear that level of surveillance for many reasons. Look at what the US is doing with the data they already have. They are using it to terrorize and deport brown people just cuz.
The thing is that we live in a colonial state that got here because of violence. We know the state can do with that data. The US is doing it already.

@chu@climatejustice.social yea scary. I can understand. I realise we are kinda lucky I guess. Also we are a communal society, so we kinda behave differently with control I guess. We just grumble and do it 😆
