For the Americans, Galen Rupp (19/RUPP) is entered again with the fastest PB (although it’s relatively old, a 2:06:07 from Prague 2018), but Clayton Young (24/YOUNG) might be the best hope for the Americans. We may see a good performance from someone like Joe Klecker (39/KLECKER) who is still building experience.

Zouhair Talbi (15/TALBI) is a new American but he ran a blazing 2:05:45 in Houston in January.
