@docpop@mastodon.social Back in October of 2013, I stumbled on a Banksy installation inside a panel truck that was doing something similar. Guerilla pop-up on Central Park West (at 77th, I think), complete with lighting, a bridge, and a WORKING WATERFALL. Folks crowded around trying to figure out what it was all about. After about 15 or 20 minutes, a guy in coveralls and a hat, pulled low, turned off the lights and the waterfall pump, closed up the back of the truck, and drove it off.

@charliepark@xoxo.zone rad! I hadn’t heard about this one before https://mymodernmet.com/banksy-new-york-delivery-truck/ Some friends of mine used to put together an event in MYC and SF where artists decorated box tricks with experiences. I wonder if Banksy was inspired by those https://docpop.org/2010/12/lost-horizon-night-market/ It’s neat, either way.
