@oxidand@techhub.social I was as appalled as you are! Especially in Germany, where a licence is both hard to pass exams for and incredibly expensive. And still, there were some situations of people driving the wrong way. But even if not, it caused traffic jams and hiccups because the cars had expected to be able to turn into the street, saw the ⛔, and got stumped by it 🤷♂️

@kytta@polymaths.social I don't know much about driving in other cities in Germany, but if we're talking about Berlin, then I'm familiar with the awful driving culture here ;(
