AirPods are without question the best product  has launched since the iPhone. But this is absolutely my pet peeve and I will totally die on this hill. AirPods outside of  would not be a Fortune 500 company. They would be Bose or Senheiser. The whole point is that their magic literally comes from being part of the ecosystem with the inherent privileges that no other headphones have.
