Within games that have a GM and have prep there is still a lot of variation in how demanding they are on the GM. I enjoy running PBTA games, but I find the improvisation and thinking draining. Ditto high rules crunch games. That's why I gravitate a lot to light weight dungeon crawling games (#OSR) as a lot of that is just adjudicating "huh, what would happen next" and then letting the players scheme, so I can sit back more.

@petrosophia@caw.corbode.com with OSR you can go crazy with the prep, but then it can be very easy to run at the table. And if you're feeling high energy you can pour that into playing NPCs, evocative descriptions, making jokes, etc.
