@TomGrant91@tweesecake.social @desertstar84@chatmosphere.club Fun fact: If you ever use the qwerty model, you of course won't get the same popup, but more importantly, you realize how stupidly unresponsive the BX model is. That's because every single keystroke you press in Braille, even the letters, have to be interpreted by JAWS and then sent back to the OS. With the Qwerty model, there's still a lot of JAWS intervention to make Windows CE/Mobile work, but it's not every single keystroke. It's also a pretty decent laptop keyboard. For some reason, the blindness tech funds seem to really dislike giving out Qwerty notetakers when there is a Perkins model available, so I didn't get to play with one until long after they were discontinued. It's nice to see devices like the Mantis Q40 bringing Qwerty into the spotlight finally.
