I totally feel this lol. People / one person, one absolute moron for the ages, were annoyed at me for actually enjoying myself during covid. (i say people because online people also expressed this nonsense and wanted to government to just let people get sick so they could go clubbing) During covid i discovered all the hiking routes in the city and became a lot more capable of travelling to places on my own (i was ~16 at the time). It’s like a new little culture war between Andrew Tate-types who go “don’t tell me what to do!” and people capable of entertaining themselves without drugs and alcohol and other people.
