There's a new (I guess) portable 13.5" color display (3000x2000) that is probably painfully expensive.
It uses Thunderbolt 4 or HDMI.
I guess regular graphics hardware caught up.
I'll have to keep that one in mind for when I win the lottery.

@Eggfreckles@mastodon.mit.edu That said I could buy a 4k 15" LCD panel and controller board on aliexpress for a couple hundred dollars and have basically the same thing, and no lithium battery to explode.
