@mho@social.heise.de All Bluesky users are only one server. Mastodon/Fediserve users are distributed across many servers. So, does it make sense to compare servers?

@isAutonomous@karlsruhe-social.de @mho@social.heise.de Bridgy is a single PDS (not run by Bluesky) which in turn feeds it to all the other ATProtocol PDS instances, either directly or through the relay firehose. Here’s the list of self-hosted PDS instances https://blue.mackuba.eu/directory/pdses (technically Bluesky runs 20 PDS instances with ~300K users each, but that’s mostly not directly visible)
