@BalooUriza@social.tulsa.ok.us @panoramax@mapstodon.space If you're talking about the first picture, this narrow cycle lane is supposed to be temporary, before a full rebuild. Here is what it looks like a few hundred meters from there, much better !
The second one is a compromise to keep the traffic two ways... The local advocacy group had to fight against the removal of a temporary cycle lane, because the city wanted to put the traffic back to 2 ways. The city rebuilt the street with 1,4 m for the sidewalks (legal requirement), 5 m for the general traffic, and the rest (2,3 to 3 m) for the cycle lane... Bad compromise for everyone 😥

@LTDLGuidon@piaille.fr I'm talking about both examples where I saw that. Both should have reduced a lane of traffic even if it meant motorists only could go one way, to prevent this.
