Working on my on #fediverse implementation and trying to figure out the best way to discover remote content... I'm thinking about having it so that when a local user follows a user on a remote server, the system backfills the any accounts followed by the remote server... i.e. pull in data for "friends-of-friends". Feels natural. The other strategy I'm thinking of would be something like #starterpacks
