The conversation around the latest AI models and cybersecurity is sobering, but personally, having worked in both tech and microbiology, I'm more worried about frontier models enabling biological weapons... My brain always goes to The Cobra Event by Richard Preston. I think the average person vastly overestimates the amount of resources required to engineer the next pandemic.
