    @whatanerd@social.treehouse.systems directing people to read an author or a specific book on anarchism is kinda silly in general, too. the ideas often become seen as the author's, to the exclusion of others. by and large the ideas are our ideas, coming from everyone thinking and discussing and doing and examining things and so on. so often, i see people recommending a book, instead of talking about the ideas directly with each other, where we can more effectively propagate our knowledge and create more

    @whatanerd@social.treehouse.systems thanks for letting us know about this disappointment. For a much more fun history of anarchist education I'd suggest "La buona educazione" by Francesco Codello, 2005. It feels downright practical, i walked away thinking it was possible to just start a school on the street corner.
