You are making a lot of assumptions. I am not building for the ideological pure one percent, I am building for the realistic needs of the average person. This is for those who lack the financial, temporal, or spoon resources to self host. It is designed to reduce friction and eliminate waste, as well as lower the barrier of entry as far as possible

@ClariNerd@mastodon.social @pluralistic@mamot.fr l Wallabag is also available as a hosted service. Since it has RSS already built in, that should count towards that reducing friction goal. All said about KOreader, was an added bonus for those interests in having their reading status synced back to their read it later article collection.
