For fun today, here is a list of the code and safety issues I have found in the wiring of my apartment. Exclusive use of conduit ground, while legal as it was code at the time of install the neutral to ground resistance measures uncomfortably high. Missing GFCI on kitchen and bathroom outlets. Improper multi wire branch circuits on non-joined single pole breakers. There are two hots on the same phase and even three hots sharing a neutral. 100A service on 2AWG aluminum wire. Two neighboring apartments sharing that 2AWG Al neutral for their service feeds. The box containing the building service disconnect switch and 600A fuses is unlocked and has its door stuck slightly open.
