@mac_ack@hidamari.apartments i am generally pessimistic in the short term but optimistic in the long term, and part of that is when i see somebody saying good things, i don't immediately start trying to bring them down. if anything, i encourage optimism. hope prevails against overwhelming odds and defeatism is a guarantor of defeat.
