@Cdespinosa@mastodon.social am I misremembering, or did AOL and AppleLink share DNA? (I do remember that the eWorld app was a reskin of AOL?)

This client app started inside Apple as AppleLink Personal Edition, our attempt to defray the cost of our corporate email system (run by GE Information Services) by offering a consumer version. When that failed we sold the front end to Quantum Computer Services
