(middle C isn’t 260-whatever Hz, it’s at best a longitudinal physical vibration at 260-whatever Hz, if not a value of distinct type altogether that happens to have that as one possible rendering)

@jrose@social.belkadan.com ehh i'm not convinced these are different units. should hight and width also be seperate types? what about radius and diameter? should we use seperate units for how fast sound travels in a substance and how fast a car goes? @irenes@mastodon.social
