On Saturday, jubilation! The schedule shows that Voyager 1 acknowledged the 5 patch commands, and the DSN started getting engineering telemetry again. It worked! They fucking re-linked a program on a 46 year old computer in deep space, and it worked! I'm not sure I could do that to a program on my local computer, with all the tools and instant feedback! It's bananas!

I don't actually see on the schedule data anything that says telemetry started coming in, but I'm also making up exactly how to read this and engineering data may be so routine it's not shown here. After the acks, I see a whole pack of commands that start with `CONTINGENCY U/L - DELINK VIM5`. Based on later acks, it looks like those _did_ get sent, so they don't seem to be contingency as in "send this if we don't hear back". Maybe this is contingency as in a crash recovery procedure?
