AI is an amazing technology, if you understand it. If you understand it you know that the AI being sold to you is a language model, a predictive text generator, designed to sound just plausible enough and just enough of a sycophant to sell itself to you. It’s not designed to do the task you want done. If you want an AI that is useful for you… well, sorry, you probably don’t have enough training data or compute to make one that works for you. The LLMs use ALL data to sound plausible… but do you really want an AI tool that that is trained on the comments section of the internet?
