@saphire@dragon.style this is a lil off your topic but i got a phishing text the other day like "Dick Sporting Goods order tecieved! Track at dickssportinggoods.smth.io. STOP to opt out!" or something. And that's clearly phishing. And the fact its so clearly phishing and i still am not sure it actually was (and not like a wrong number or something - i dont have any account that could do this) disturbs me much more than the phishing.

@saphire@dragon.style i have gotten OBVIOUS indistinguishable-from-scams calls etc that were not in fact scams. combine that with some manufactured urgency and its basically a choice between falling for a scam eventually or missing something genuine eventually
