@mjibrower@social.vivaldi.net even the commuter lot - which for me would be a .5 mile walk - are $276/year.
They have an entire almost empty campus they could offer up for free parking (with a bus to get to the other two campuses) but it's just not a priority. It makes me so mad.
We have a bus system, but depending on where you live, it's just not possible to depend on that

@nirak@hcommons.social Ugh, that feels exploitative even in the ridiculous world of higher ed employee parking policies. A park-&-ride lot makes so much sense, for employees *and* students.
