@lashman@mastodon.social @daniel@social.ppmx.org It might well just not be a thing by design for Mastodon, but ActivityPub makes it "easy" (of course operating any large-scale search engine is non-trivial) for anyone to offer search functionality across the entire federated feed, so I'm sure there'll be plenty of people iterating on various ways of doing more interesting search.
