Redwall is interesting. It's partly cozy fantasy because it's about mice and other whimsical creatures who enjoy lavish feasts and the ol' nut brown ale. Then there's a hare who feels like he came out of a cartoon. At the same time, there's siege warfare, some straight-up cold-blooded murder, and other gnarly deaths.
