@Paws2Spindle@sunny.garden Good question. It's actually two different glazes using the same colorant, copper carbonate. The patina-looking glaze is a "breaking glaze" that allows the color of the red clay to break through the surface. The jewel tone is a more straightforward semi-opaque, glossy glaze. Thanks for taking the time to look closely.
