Watching it today, I get the sense that the world depicted would incorporate collapse computing or #permacomputing.

The stories and characters are nuanced, have extreme depth and surprising relevancy to our world 30 years later. It's required multiple viewings over decades to grasp it all and apply it to the context of the present.
It's worthy of a complete viewing every ten years.

A few years ago I struck up a conversation with Peter Chung, the creator of Aeon Flux.During the course of my conversation with Peter I somehow ended up getting first pick of an original ÆonFlux animation cel from his archives and ended up with this gem.Time to finally get this framed.
