@LovesTha@floss.social Definitely, but I'd prefer to have the quick build than to have less infrastructure.
Quick build gives you the option of saying it's a 'trial' to work around the doomsayers and the ability to do lots of it over a wide area all at once to build the network.
The problem with good bicycle infrastructure is that it tends to end up being part of a complete street rebuild which means large total costs, big risk and thus long complex consultations etc.
$100m on a quick build whole network(700km) that is put forward as a bunch of trials and some of it gets rolled back would be amazing.
