@ayo@social.ayco.io Tried Elk on my computer last night. Seemed pretty good. Turned the Wellness settings on. Feel like maybe they should be on by default. Using FediLab ( @apps@toot.fedilab.app ) on phone at the moment. @elk@m.webtoo.ls

@ayo@social.ayco.io @elk@m.webtoo.ls tried both versions, but on the desktop I need a multi-collumn interface like the advanced interface of mastodon/tweetdeck and on Android I find tusky still superior.

@ayo@social.ayco.io @elk@m.webtoo.ls I've been enjoying watching the progress #elk has been making but the feed has some major issues for me when I use it as a PWA. It doesn't consistently refresh the feed for me and there doesn't seem to be a way to refresh it manually. It can go a whole day without refreshing the feed. When it does it also doesn't remember my place (a problem some other new apps have too). Otherwise it looks really good, but it makes it hard to use day-to-day.

@ayo@social.ayco.io @elk@m.webtoo.ls I have heard of Elk before but I haven't gotten around to trying it yet, so I guess I don't fit any of the poll options.

@ayo@social.ayco.io @elk@m.webtoo.ls I wonder what those who replied “tried, but not ready for it yet”, found on it that made it a show stopper.

@ayo@social.ayco.io @elk@m.webtoo.ls No, but I want to. I need some time to learn and deploy it.

@ayo@social.ayco.io if I didn’t live in the advanced interface I’d probably use it more. I will probably recommend it to people who want the simpler view though :3

@ayo@social.ayco.io @elk@m.webtoo.ls Actualy, i was wondering if update Button couldn't be implicite. Like when you open, it fetch the new update, and use the new version After next refresh ?
