  @Buchhandlung_am_Bruehl@mastodon.social When you click "favourite": A message goes to the author of the favourited toot saying who "liked" it The favourites counter for that toot goes up. Others can find out who favourited it. That's about it. When a toot is "boosted", then it shows up in the timelines of the followers of the booster. That is separate from "favouriting". When you toot a message, it shows up in the timelines of your followers. I followed your account so I will see your posts.

  @Buchhandlung_am_Bruehl@mastodon.social @bjb@fosstodon.org This is funny. I was responsible for getting the first antique book shop online in Poland back in 1994 or 1995. They're still up and running, and are much much bigger than then, but still remain good people.
