FFS the Ottawa Citizen is regurgitating official stats again. They acknowledge the comparison is BS, but report it as fact anyway:

How about total foot traffic to City Hall? Has that declined too? Attendance in the Council and committee galleries?
I, for one, haven't even tried going to City Hall because I'm sure my bike tools will be classified as "dangerous". What am I going to do? Leave my "dangerous" equipment on my bike where it can be stolen?

@Centretowner@urbanists.social last few times I went to city hall I left my tools on the bike and carried my whole dang bicycle in. I don't think that's in the security desk person's training manual.
