I am already trying that (not that I'd use it much), unlike the email which I voted for. I think any service that just runs on your LAN is much easier to use than software requiring configuration of domains, certificates as well as reliable uptime etc. since it is in general way easier to just VPN to you home network .

@Setok@attractive.space which is also why why near zero-configuration software like #Syncthing is so cool: just start up the container in #podman (with single systemd conf file) and maybe open up one port in your firewall
