@scott@mastodon.clitheroe.ca @jschauma@mstdn.social Sure we will get a burst of "easy to find" bugs with the help of LLM assisted research. But once these low-hanging fruits are found, it _will_ settle a bit.
This raises a few questions:
- What changes to the _kernel_ are needed to have user-space code that perform as good as if running in kernel-space, so we don't have a gazillion modules to check?
- Would have rust help avoiding these bugs 🙃 ?
- Was Mr Tanenbaum correct in the first place 🫠?
