@beet_keeper@digipres.club At a university in Vienna, there was a presentation on "the issue of AI-generated sources and other nonsense" already noticably diluting existing science papers.
IMOI, it's not AIs fault directly:
Every overworked person will take /anything/ to satsify the "faster! FASTER! FASTER!" work-overload issues...
Unless we allow workloads which are manageable again, noone will take their foot of the gas, I presume?

@p3ter@mastodon.social manageable workloads really resonates. I follow a lot of chat in different forums on this, and I feel like part is the AI propaganda but I definitely hear about the propaganda creeping into teams. Ironically, there was a slow movement a few years back, just before LLMs emerged, or as they were... I have it on my list to circle back to. LLMs over took the movement but I think we should go back.
