… the camera control button is not that useful. I’ve got the pick up phone/swipe right gesture drilled in me from the last 15+ years, but the button is handy when that gesture won’t work: when you’re already in an app, or the lock screen is taken over by Maps.

… the advanced features of the camera button (swipe + different pressure level) are unusable. It’s far too small a surface to do such precise motor control into multi level menus, especially when rushing to take a photo. An obvious miss that better designers should have anticipated.
