@jawarajabbi@mastodon.online I want a friendly Komodo dragon to hang out in my yard, but I think if it showed up it would expect more than little mealworms. Same thing with Gila monsters. I would love to have a Gila monster living in the yard, but they eat small rodents and birds, eggs and so on. Some of these lizards here, if I run out of mealworms, will nip at my fingers or toes. You don't want a Gila monster doing that.
