Where are these lizards? Southwest US? Some other super hot place? I have a vivid komodo dragon memory from my few years in West Africa...

@jawarajabbi@mastodon.online Southern Arizona. Sonoran Desert. My yard in Ajo, AZ. This is a small fixer-upper historic house on a tiny little town lot, but there are at least six species of lizards here and two species of toad and 4 snake species so far. The herp diversity is incredibly impressive.
